The family of Daytona Beach Thunder Head Coach Leon Bright is asking for help for his six-year old nephew, Trevon Bright, who lost his right leg last week in a tractor accident.
A die-hard hard football fan, Trevon was a member of the Volusia Panthers tiny-mite youth football team.
"He’s a good kid who has experienced a major setback," Leon Bright said. "We’re asking for help so he can resume a normal life and perhaps even return to the football field."
Donations are being accepted for the Trevon Bright Fund in hopes to secure a prosthetic leg. Those wishing to contribute can visit any Bank of America or support a fundraising car wash on Saturday, November 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Prestige Motors, 700 S. Woodland Blvd. in Deland.
For more information, contact Tamela King at (904) 838-7431 or Tara Vicente at (407) 710-3203.
