8th Annual Blessing of Teachers
Press Release
2006-08-16
Article Written by: Community Member

Another school year is underway and it is time for the Eighth Annual Blessing of Teachers at St. Mark By The Sea Lutheran Church! It would be our pleasure to welcome Administrators, Faculty and Teachers from all educational institutions in and around Flagler County for this annual event.

The service celebrates those who answer the calling to shape young hearts and minds. We welcome representatives from every level of education, from Pre-School through College level Educators. We would like to include on this invitation all actively working in the field of Education and retired educators as well.

The service offers prayers and a special “sealing with prayer” for all in attendance. There are prayers for safety in our schools and institutions of higher learning. There are prayers for those engaged in the work of being educational missionaries in places far away and for those who teach and learn in our own community. There are songs that have helped to shape and teach young hearts about the love of God. This is a special service and we cordially invite you to be our special guests.

The Service will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2006, at both the 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. services. St. Mark By the Sea Lutheran Church is at 303 Palm Coast Parkway in Palm Coast. We are located approximately one mile east of I-95, next to the Sun Trust Bank. For more information please contact the church office at 386/445-3420 or e-mail us at info@stmarkbythesea.org.
