FINALLY… a safe, fun, alcohol & drug free and adult supervised place on a regular basis for youths to EXPRESS themselves on a Saturday night…Deltona Jamz Teen Open Mic!

Continuing our efforts to be the People’s Arts Center providing opportunities for creative expression, Deltona Arts & Historical Center proudly hosts Deltona Jamz Teen Open Mic! Under the direction of award winning songwriter and board member Lillian Stabile, youths ages 13 to 25 will have 15 minutes to sing, dance, play instruments and read poetry. Bands, dance groups and solo acts are welcome.

Deltona Jamz Teen Open Mic is the FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH / 7pm-11pm. Every show will be hosted by rotating young celebrity MCs. The premiere celebrity MC is Adrian Sutton, winner of the State Attorney’s Rap Against Gun Violence song contest. Future MCs include Jenna Riggio, finalist in the City of Deltona Battle of the Bands Contest 2005 and Mike Sanders, lead singer of "No Harm Done", place winners in the City of Deltona Battle of the Bands contest 2005.
