Dukes of Hazard
“Look at the girl with the Daisy Dukes on!!”
2005-08-15
Article Written by: Sami Jo

Jessica Simpson is hot!!! With that said, and before I say anything else, I must admit that I have never seen the Dukes of Hazard TV Series. Not one episode. For those of you who are still reading, director Jay Chandrasekhar brings the show to the big screen with awesome action, sexiness, and humor.

Bo Duke (Seann William Scott) and Luke Duke (Johnny Knoxville) with the help of their cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) and a few other people go on a mission to stop Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds) from turning Hazard County into a coal mine. Much of the action centers around General Lee, the orange Dodge Charger that is just as important to the film as the paid actors.

The movie was fun. Johnny Knoxville (Jackass) and Seann William Scott (American Pie) bring laughs to every scene, surprise, surprise. Stifler and the Jackass are a great on-screen team. However, it was Willie Nelson's character, Uncle Jesse, who may have had the best lines in the film. The entire audience roared with laughter when he started telling jokes. Jessica Simpson was a great casting choice to play the part of Daisy. She can pull of the sweet Southern girl look, but has the sex appeal to be the seductress she needs to be to play her part. If you're hoping or expecting to see the 1979 TV show, go to Best Buy and buy the TV on DVD. If you can handle a new version of an old classic, go straight to the theaters for a perfectly entertaining experience.
