I have eaten at Chops so many times & I've never had a bad meal or bad service. Some of the negative reviews are ridiculous. You obviously don't know a good restaurant...Go to Mc Donalds.

I love Chops. It is my favorite girls night out restaurant. The food is so delicious and different. I loved the grilled brie with fruit. Their ahi tuna is now the only one I will eat, other places just can't do it as well. The menu changes, so I can order different entrees which to me is the reason I eat out. Why go out if I can make it at home, Chops offers unique choices. I also love to bring my husband, other couples, family when they visit. The atmosphere is so nice. Everyone raves about it. I celebrate my birthday, my friends birthdays and even my husband's there. Lastly, my favorite wine is one that I discovered at the Wind down Wed. event. Chops is the best!

Chops absolutely blown us away...far better than I had expected. Finally an upscale hip restaurant where the lighting is extremely flattering (great date place) and the decor is elegant /modern and great food. Prior to eating inside we peaked at the dining area, and vowed to return on a nice evening. The music was perfect (latin night) and the waiter even started the guests dancing. The music, atmosphere, food make chops a cut above most restaurants in Daytona. Dress up and kick up your heels...Chops is a wonderful evening out!

like chris, we had the most awful and disappointing meal at CHOPS last saturday night. when we parked our car and started walking up to the restaurant we were so taken in with the outdoor seating arrangments, the waterfall, the perfect music and the beautifully lit trees and we were anticipating a perfect meal to go with the surroundings. from the moment our waitress took our drink orders we knew this was going to be a fiasco. she told us she didn't think the bartender could make a "virgin bloody mary" because they don't make frozen drinks??? my husbands ribeye, the only MEAT dish on the menu, was fatty and grainy, my shrimp and scallops swam in a terrible pesto sauce. other meals were average. espresso was served in a coffee cup and cappicino was brought in a mug with whipped cream flowing down the sides. apparently no one cared about how the food tasted or served. and the real reason i am writing this is i sent a similar comment directly to the owners of the restaurant and they completely ignored me !!!!! there is so much better food around town !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contrary to the other posted review about Chops, my friends and I have had nothing but wonderful meals and experiences at this excellent restaurant. It is not the "usual Daytona Beach kind of place" for sure. The food is fresh, the dishes are delicious, exquisitely prepared and presented, making dining there quite a pleasant experience. I have not talked to anyone who has had anything but a wonderful meal there and we will continue to visit Chops hoping that it will stay -- every time we find a great place here, it disappears.... Long live Chops. The inside dining areas are beautiful and interesting, but the outdoor area is out of this world. It feels and looks like Miami or Long Boat Key or Sarasota, anywhere but Daytona Beach! Hope you take a chance and go dine at Chops!

One of the most unpleasant dininig experiences we ever had. There were seven of us. We started with drinks, of which three had to to be remade, and for $7.00 a piece they should of been right the first time. The main courses were not much better, of the seven two(the salmon) had to be returned because they were too dried out, the lamb which was ordered med-well came out with blood running out of it and had to be sent back twice, the rest of us had a beef dish which tasted gamey but was eaten because we were hungry. For a bill totaling almost $270.00( for only 5 meals) we wanted to discuss our dissappointment with the manager, Wes, his reply was the most appalling of all, he said he would deduct the gratuity off the bill so the waiter would get stiffed.
