Wow! Memories of the basement dining at Mama Leone's in New York's Little Italy! We have been there twice--once with a party of 8. The service was great. The food was extremely good and very plentiful. They have such large portions, that the waitress helps you decide whether you have ordered too much. Many items come out as family style. The decor is soooooooo Italian. The bathrooms so clean. Nothing bad to say about our place to go for Italian food. You must get around and see some of the memorabilia on the walls. The long funny story about the new immigrants (with broken English) is a riot to read (I stood there laughing out loud to myself!)It is over, near the bar area. And to boot, I just got a $10.00 gift certificate mailed to all our neighborhood this week! I'll be there soon!

FOOD IS FANTASTIC, THE STAFF FRIENDLY AND PROMPT! GREAT PLACE TO LOOK AT MEMORABILIA! :)
