As a resident of Daytona Beach, I've been to McK's a few times. Tonite was the last. The outside tables were filty as well as the sidewalk, windows and entryway. I did not go inside, but sat outside. My dinner companion discovered sludge the color of tobacco at the bottom of her water glass with particles floating within. When she approached the manager, he was rude and had an attitude from hell. He never apologized or tried to make it right. As he re-entered the restaurant (she did not hear) he said that it would not break his heart if she returned. We are middle-aged professional women who enjoy a dinner out and are willing to pay and tip for service. NEVER AGAIN WILL I VISIT THIS FILTY ESTABLISHMENT.

Since all of these reviews have been made the place is under a new owner. I must say this is by far my favorite place to go in all of Daytona. The have an excellent chicken quesadilla, a huge selections of beers, and for those daring people a beer challenege, where you get your name on the wall, a t-shirt, and a 40 oz mug with your name on it! I highly recommend going there! PS look for my name on the wall.

I went to McK's again w/ some friends b/c we heard it was under new management. There's a new pool room, and the service is much, much better!

McK's? I don't understand how they can stay in business. The service can be good, but more often it is terrible. Prices are high. If I am paying $5.50 for one beer, I'd better be getting excellent service - not an attitude. Sorry, but I've been completely dissatisfied when them far too often. Never again..

We went out for our routine Fri lunch and decided to try this place out. Not only was the food horrible (except for the french frys- they were ok) but the service was poor as well. I ordered a cheese burger med-well and when it came out burnt (more done than well done), I asked for it to be re-cooked. The server spoke to me as though I was an idiot and said I should have ordered it medium. I took her suggestion for my re-cook. Again the burger came out burnt, slightly less than the first, but burnt just the same. When I brought it to her attention she just "Oh, it's still not right?" and walked away. I have a part-time job as a server and had my manager saw me react like that, I would have at minimum been wrote up. If you are not going to provide good food, you should at least provide excellent service. Neither of these will be found here!
