If you’re looking for some local color with a lot of flavor be sure to check out Crabby Joe’s Deck and Grill atop the Sunglow Pier in sunny Daytona Beach Shores. Literally situated midway on the pier, you can look between the floorboards to the crashing waves beneath as you fill up on great seafood and other American fare.

Speaking of eating, their generous menu includes various tongue-tempting dishes such as Grouper Fingers for starters and a Steamed Florida Cracker Special which includes shrimp, smoked sausage, snow crab, cole slaw and fresh corn on the cob. Follow this up with frozen Key Lime Ice Cream Pie for dessert. The menu has a wide variety of meals listed with several diet plates and a great kid’s menu. While there, be sure to try some Broccoli Slaw which is a Pier specialty and heart-healthy, too!
As you’re eating, you’ll notice many people walking through the restaurant to fish the pier outside. This provides for a decidedly laid back environment and Crabby Joe’s boasts an atmosphere where dress is casual (bathing suits are okay) and wait staff very pleasant and friendly.
Arrive early and watch the sun come up over the Atlantic while enjoying a Sunrise Breakfast. They also cater to large parties, weddings, office or company parties and special events.
