Chili'sThe Place To Remember When In Doubt

It's been a long night. You eye the clock...waiting...somewhat impatiently as the time aproaches. Finally, the time has come to clock out! For the last eight hours you've worked the drudgery of your evening shift. Now it's ten o'clock and you could really use a drink, but your hungry too. It would be nice to find somewhere to sit, relax, and satisfy the afterwork necessities. Frantically your mind works to recall your options, but alas, it seems every decent place to go has already closed, or is about to. Before long, however, the answer presents itself...how about Chili's?
Chili's is a restaurant and bar that suits nearly any dining or drinking occasion. The atmosphere is a blend of excitement and friendliness, and the menu covers a broad enough range for any preference at any age. They have daily specials in the dining room and at the bar, and are open for lunch, dinner, and drinking time. Are your grandparents in town and you want to take them out to lunch? Perhaps your out to dinner on a casual, ice-breaking first date? Maybe it's your twentieth date? Are you meeting a client for lunch? Whether your killing time with your buddies on the wedding day before you can see your bride, or whether you are on your lunch break, Chili's is practically perfect when in doubt about where to go.
Not too far in the depths of Chili's, we found a certain bartender, of whom we decided to ask a few questions. Gail Sweeney has a BA in Graphic Design, and she started working at Chili's about four years ago before leaving for Boston. After a two year stint in Boston working for a pre-press company, she decided to move back to Daytona Beach and further her studies with a BS in web development. Gail has been back with Chili's since September 2005, and you'll sometimes catch her out and about surfing, practicing photography, or anything else outdoors that will keep her out of trouble. Motivated by the possibilities of creating art through the use of computers, she is currently an intern with Lyrehc Business Solutions, Inc.
When in doubt, remember Chili's. Sit at a table in the dining room, or take a seat at the bar. Take a while to look over their menus. And don't forget to say hi to Gail. Look for a location near you right here, on WhatsHappeningDaytona.com.
