Moe's Southwest Grill
Welcome to Moe's
2006-02-17
Article Written by: Sami Jo

“Welcome to Moe’s!!!”  That’s the first thing you’ll hear when you enter this southwest grill.  The entire front of house staff welcomes every customer that enters the restaurant!  A counter-service style establishment, patrons can read the menu from the wall and place their order promptly at the counter.  Similar to Subway, guests get to watch as their food is prepared, choosing toppings from their selection.  Moe’s specializes in southwest favorites, including burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas.  Once your order is complete, all you have to do is pay at the register and help yourself to a seat!

For those who prefer margaritas and beer with their burritos, Moe’s has you covered!  Moe’s specialized on the dining experience.  The food is better than average, but not as good as grandma’s home cookin’.  Moe’s success comes from their attention to customer service and providing the Volusia County area with a unique place to go.

The Atmosphere:  Bright and colorful in appearance, Moe’s also plays music that is sure to have you singing along, playing top 40 hits from various decades.

Recommended Menu Item:  Reading the menu at Moe’s is an experience itself!  Whoever thought of names such as the Homewrecker, The Ugly Naked Guy, Close Talker or Puff the Magic Dragon has a great sense of humor.  We would like to recommend The Other Lewinsky  - it’s a taco that comes with either pinto or black beans, your choice of grilled chicken, steak or tofu, cheese, salsa, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole.

Affordability: One person can easily eat at Moe’s for under $20, including drink.

Kid friendly?  Moe’s has a kid’s menu that comes with child-size portions.  Each meal includes a soda and a cookie!

Getting there and parking: Moe’s has three Volusia County locations: Ormond Beach, 337 W. Granada Blvd.; DeLand, 941 N. Woodland Blvd.; and Port Orange, 4649 Clyde Morris Blvd. at the corner of Herbert St (Coming Soon!).
