So here you are, it’s lunchtime and you’re starving. Tired of eating the same old thing for lunch, you continue to work because you have no idea what you want to eat. Eventually, you get to the point where you can barely focus on your job because you feel extremely light headed and your stomach is growling over the background music. Stop the insanity! It’s time for you to try New China King. This New York style Chinese take-out restaurant combines everyone’s favorites: great food at even better prices!!
With 28 different lunch specials that feature all the staples, including chicken, beef, pork, shrimp and even vegetarian meals, they have something for every appetite. Each of these specials come with roast pork fried rice and a can of soda for only $4.50 (plus tax). That’s not all! For those who eat average portions – and who aren’t opposed to leftovers – most of the meals come with enough food to make two meals. Lunch specials are available Monday through Saturday from 11 am-3:30 pm and Sunday from Noon-3:30 pm. It is recommended that you call ahead to place your order as they make all the food to order and tend to be a popular place at lunchtime.
While the best deals are at lunch, New China King is also open nightly through dinner and into the night (Monday-Thursday 11 am-10:30 pm, Friday and Saturday 11 am-11:30 pm, and Sunday Noon-10:30 pm). They have 18 House Specialties, plus all the staples mentioned in the lunch specials and more! After 3:30 pm daily, they offer a free quart of Wonton soup with any purchase of $20 or more, a free pint of roast pork fried rice with any purchase of $30 or more, and 21 pieces of fried shrimp with any purchase of $40 or more.
New China King is even suitable for the picky eaters of the world. Many people who usually don’t like Chinese food find the Sweet and Sour Chicken to be quite scrumptious! Be sure to substitute the sweet and sour sauce with their favorite chicken finger dipping sauce or try soy sauce!
