The Guinness Book of World Records has awarded our own Ormond Beach native, age 2, Phoenix Trinity Perego the official title of "The Youngest Professional Artist in the World". Phoenix officially broke the record back in April with a gallery show and live auction sale of some of her first works at the Casements Cultural Center of Ormond Beach. She was awarded her title and certificate form the Guiness association in October. She has been painting since the age of one with her first show at the Jacksonville Riverwalk Festival. Phoenix has painted live during events, participated in art and gallery shows and recently joined some 40 other area artists in painting her own "ED THE DOG" for the Halifax Humane Society's Muttisse Project. Phoenix's dog raised $800.00 for this wonderful organization.
This weekend, Nov. 4, & 5 th, Phoenix will be featured at the 44th annual Halifax Art Festival. She has been invited to join world famous artist "CICCIO" in his exhibit directly in front of Stacey Lipton Interiors on the corner of Beach and ISB. Please stop by and meet these two extraordinary world renowned artists and see for yourself the results of their amazing passion for the art.
