Celebrate Fall, Family and Fun Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 10am to 2pm at the Halifax Humane Society’s Barktoberfest. Sponsored by Pet Paradise Resorts & Schering Plough, this special day will be packed full of activity for the whole family and dogs are welcome!

Enter Fido in a pie eating contest or one of the many other activities that day. There will be games, prizes, music, food, contests, demonstrations, children’s activities, specialty items, Low Cost Vaccination & "Home Again" Microchip Clinic and more. If you don’t have a pet to bring along, come anyway, you might just meet the love of your life here among the many hopeful faces at our shelter. Also, if you missed it last year, Disc-Connected K9's Frisbee Dog Team will be back to wow the crowds with their high-flying routine.

Admission is $5 for adults and children are free. Bring a CAN of PET FOOD and you will be entered into a drawing for great prizes! For more information phone: 386-274-4703 Ext.22.
