Florida Blood Center’s Three Blood Drives, Three Days, Three Locations

All donors will receive a FREE $20 Home Depot gift card, $10 off Sea World, and Club Red. We need anyone who has ever considered giving blood to do it now. Cancer patients are in daily need of treatment, burn victims use plasma, trauma victims need red blood transfusions, and routine surgeries depend on the gift of a volunteer donor. Donors can be as young as sixteen years old and there is no upper age limit.

Remember the facts:

  • Every two seconds, someone in the US needs blood.
  • More than two thousand blood donations are needed each day in Florida.
  • Just one donation can help save three lives, because it’s separated into three components…red blood cells, plasma, and platelets.
  • 65% of the population is eligible to give blood, yet less than 5% of people actually do
  • Donating blood is perfectly safe. A sterile needle is used once for each donor.
You can donate blood on
  • Saturday, July 1st: 10am-4pm @ Sam’s Wholesale Club (Beville Rd.)
  • Monday, July 3rd: 10am-4pm @ WELE Radio (432 S. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach)
  • Wednesday, July 5th: 10am-4pm @ the Sunshine Park Mall in South Daytona
