Daytona Beach Young Professionals Group Celebrates 2nd Annual Gala Event
April 27, 2006 – Daytona Beach, Fla.
The Daytona Beach Young Professionals Group (Daytona YPG) will celebrate their achievements from a second successful year on Saturday, May 20. Their annual special event, called the YPG Gala, will be held at The Shores Resort & Spa to honor and commemorate the YPG’s accomplishments in the past year. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. The evening will include a cocktail hour, a full-course dinner, an awards ceremony, entertainment, and dancing. Special ticket prices and more information can be found at www.daytonaypg.com. (Must RSVP in advance for seating)
The recognition ceremony includes the following awards: Community Service, Athletics, Member of the Year, and a President’s Award. The ceremony will serve as a tribute to the members and community leaders who have contributed to the influential success and growth of the Daytona YPG. Currently, the organization is composed of an Executive Board and a Board of Directors and involves over 800 young professionals in various activities throughout Volusia County, mostly concentrated in Daytona Beach, Port Orange, and Ormond Beach.
“The growth of the Daytona YPG has been tremendous this past year. The YPG Gala is a special night to recognize the members who have made a difference both in our organization and in the community,” said Kevin Snyder, Daytona YPG President for 2005-06.
The YPG Gala will also celebrate the induction of its 2006-07 President, Michael Ciocchetti. “I look forward to stepping into the role of YPG President at our Gala event,” he said. “With the support of our talented Board of Directors and Executive Council, the YPG will see tremendous membership growth and offer a range of diverse activities in this coming year.”
Along with Ciocchetti, the newly inducted YPG Board of Directors will be honored and recognized. YPG Chairman of the Board, Craig Wells, commented, “The Daytona Beach Young Professionals Group has proved yet again to be an asset to the area, not only providing philanthropic activities to the community but also creating a venue for networking and a vehicle for fostering new friendships to its members. The YPG Gala is our opportunity to recognize our current leaders and welcome Mike Ciocchetti into his role as President. The Board of Directors is looking forward to an exciting and dynamic year with YPG.”
The Daytona Beach Young Professionals Group (Daytona YPG) is a meaningful networking organization of dedicated, talented young professionals ranging in age from early 20s to early 40s in Volusia County.
