The Dutton House Bavarian Brewfest

DeLand, FL., August 16, 2006- Historic DeLand, Inc. announces the 1st annual Dutton House Bavarian Brewfest. Saturday, September 23, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. is this years date for this annual event. The festival will be held on the grounds of the Dutton House located at 332 West New York Avenue DeLand, FL.

The festival includes “Around the World” beer tasting as well as a variety of fine artisan and imported beers, authentic German cuisine, German games/contests and live music.

Entertainment: Andy and the Oompahs, a genuine German sound, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Coyote and Towndogs, 7:30-10:00 p.m. draw from such a wide variety of influences. The best description they’ve come up with is a Southern-fried fusion of Jazz, Funk and Blues.

Tickets available: $10.00 at The Muse Book Store 734-0278 and the Offices of Historic DeLand, Inc. 740-6957. First 300 tickets sold receive glass collectors beer mug.

All proceeds benefit the restoration of the Historic Dutton House. The Dutton House is one of the last remaining examples of its architectural styles left in the State of Florida.
