Our People - Charles Griffin

I am Charles Lindsay Griffin, Jr. Former Infantryman. Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. Army civilian writer, photographer and editor. Air Force civilian photographer, writer, Public Affairs Specialist. Journalist and Photojournalist for small papers and magazines from here to there. Almost a Daytona area native, I first came here from North Carolina at four or five years of age. I've lived and worked in Korea, India and Japan. I've been to Sri Lanka, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Hawaii, Germany, Mexico, the Caribbean, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. I am semi-retired, live on the beachside of Daytona. I am, in the great scheme of things, a relatively minor poet, published in small journals and magazines. I do my best poetry live in front of an audience in smoky cafes, fueled by strong coffee.
