JB's is the ultimate "Recreational" restaurant! Come by boat, kayak, car, or walk over from the beach. JB's laid back for sure. Enjoy a meal seated outside along the bank of North Mosquito Lagoon and soak up the sun and beautiful scenery which includes wading birds porpoise and manatees. The food is as fresh as it gets. I ordered blue crabs only to be informed they had run out, 5 minutes later the server came to me and said the crab boat had just pulled in, would you still like the blue crabs...oh yeah! I recommend the clams, oysters, rock shrimp, crabcakes and gumbo...to start with! Grouper Imperial as a main dish, YUM!

As soon as i walked in there i felt welcomed. Every employee there will try their hardest to make sure you have a great time. The scenery is vivid and at a great location just steps from the beach. As for their food...Priceless! I make it a tradition to stay in New Smyrna just so we can go to JB's
