FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DBCC presents: Lend Me a Tenor
The Daytona Beach Community College Cultural Arts Department is proud to present the two time Tony award winning show, "Lend Me a Tenor". The setting is the 1930s, and the Cleveland Grand Opera is about to open Otello starring the Italian star known as “Il Stupendo.” When the star is unable to perform, it is up to a young panicky assistant to find the courage to save the day. A jealous wife, a seductive starlet, mistaken identities, twists and turns all add up to a classic farce. Produced through a special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, Inc., Director Robert Arcuri leads his cast through this operatic comedy.
"Lend Me a Tenor", written by Ken Ludwig, can be seen at the DBCC Daytona Beach Campus Theater Center (Bldg. 220), Sept. 21, 22, 23 & 28, 29, 30, 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5.
DBCC Daytona Beach Campus is located at 1200 W. Int'l Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach
