DBCC Symphonic Band Set to Perform

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Daytona Beach, Fla., 4/18/2006) - The Daytona Beach Community College (DBCC) Cultural Arts and Music Department will feature the DBCC Symphonic Band in its final performance of the 2005-06 season.

The band will perform Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the DBCC Theater Center (Bldg. 220), Daytona Beach Campus located at 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.

The concert is open to the public and tickets may be purchased for $5. Proceeds from ticket sales are used to support the Performing Arts Scholarship program at DBCC.

The band, under the direction of Peter Waidelich, will perform music from the Symphonic Wind Literature.
