DBCC Civic Orchestra Concert Conducted by Alvaro Gomez

(Daytona Beach, Fla., 4/18/2006) - The Daytona Beach Community College (DBCC) Civic Orchestra conducted by Alvaro Gomez will perform Sunday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the DBCC Theater Center (Bldg. 220) located at 1200 West International Speedway Blvd.

The performance is open to the public and tickets may be purchased for $5.

The program will entertain the audience with pieces from a variety of symphonic genres.

Conductor Gomez, a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, was appointed Conductor of the Daytona Beach Civic Orchestra in 2003 and served as the Associate Conductor of the University of Florida Symphony Orchestra from 2003-2005.
