DeLAND--Sands Theater Center/Storybook Theater Company announces auditions for Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles." Students in middle and high school are needed to play a variety of roles. The play will be directed by 2005 Volusia County Teacher of the Year, David Finkle. Auditions are Mon. and Tues, April 24 & 25 from 4-6 PM at The Sands Theater Center, 600 N Woodland Blvd., DeLand, FL 32720. The dates of the show are June 9 & 16 at 7:30 PM, and June 10, 11, 17 & 18 at 2:30 PM. Auditioners will be asked to do cold readings from the script and some drama exercises.
